LoudHER Media is an independent music outlet ran by women who are dedicated to amplify voices within the industry. We believe that journalism should be authentic and passionate to showcase who we are as individuals behind the scenes of this outlet. Between thoughtful interviews with your favorite musicians, exclusive features, live show coverage, and reviews on upcoming EP and album releases, we believe that representation matters. We are here to build a community that has the same love we do for the music scene

For three years, I’ve traveled across the USA as a photographer for several music outlets to live out my dream. Fast forward to three years later, I decided to create LoudHERMedia to showcase my love for writing and interviewing musicians around the world. I’ve learned so much from my previous editors that I still currently assist with anything they need because we are all here to become successful. We are here to give creatives an outlet without judgement. We are here to guide creatives on how to gain more opportunities within the industry

My name is Alexia Johnson, and I’m the Co-Founder of LoudHERMedia, as well as a photographer, videographer, and FAA-certified drone pilot based in North Alabama. I’m also the owner of Johnson Photography, where I specialize in weddings, portraits, branding, events, and commercial media, while also working in concert journalism and live music. I’ve been behind a camera for over 13 years and hold a degree in Photography, Videography, and Graphic Design. In addition to running my business and co-leading LoudHERMedia, I contribute concert reviews and photography coverage for music publications.

I’m passionate about storytelling, supporting artists and business, and building meaningful connections within the media and entertainment industries. When I’m not behind the camera, you can usually find me surrounded by my favorite things; sunflowers and anything yellow. They’ve become a big part of both my personality and my photography brand. I’m excited to be part of this group, learn from everyone here, and collaborate with fellow creatives and PR professionals. Looking forward to connecting with you all!

Music is more than a hobby for me—it’s a way of life. I’m passionate about live music, spending much of my free time at concerts and music festivals across the Southeast. Whether it’s a packed arena show, an intimate venue, or a multi-day festival, I love capturing the energy, emotion, and unforgettable moments that make live music special.

Based in Alabama, I regularly travel throughout the state and am always ready to hit the road for the next great show. I’m also willing to travel to Tennessee, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Louisiana, and Kentucky. My goal as a photographer is to preserve the excitement of live events and tell the story behind every performance through authentic, dynamic images.

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll likely find me in the crowd, discovering new artists, supporting local music scenes, and planning my next concert adventure.
